Volunteer: Container Car Exhibit
Wednesday, March 7, 2012 from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM (PST)
One Heart Betrayed Container Car Exhibit
“One Heart Betrayed” is a container car exhibit designed to shed light the plight of thousands of political prisoners, or “prisoners of conscience,” who are imprisoned in steel shipping containers for such transgressions as religious beliefs, political views, or for family connections that run counter to authoritarian rule in the country of 5 million that lies on the Western coast of the Red Sea." - Human Rights Watch
Thank you for your interest in volunteering! Volunteer duties may include: directing traffic, encouraging visitors to sign a human rights petition or distributing candles at the exhibit's entrance.
Please arrive 15 minutes before your shift begins to tour the exhibit on your own and learn about your volunteer duties. We encourage you to wear an ASU t-shirt and jeans during your shift. Please note that the exhibit is located outside and for this reason, we highly recommend that you bring a water bottle with you.
